Rooted in the landscape of Waiheke Island, Allpress Olive Groves began with the first trees planted at Rangihoua Estate in 1997. Officially founded in 2021 by Michael Allpress, the groves reflect a deep connection to place — where coastal climate, sun-soaked hillsides, and mineral-rich soils shape every harvest. The result is world-class extra virgin olive oil that captures the distinctive character and flavour of Waiheke in every bottle.

Today, Allpress Olive Groves is a celebration of place, flavour, and slow island living, brought to life through immersive hospitality experiences - most notably Bistro Allpress.

At Bistro Allpress, the menu is simple, generous, and ingredient-led, showcasing the best of local and New Zealand produce. Dishes are designed to be shared and enjoyed slowly, with our Waiheke-grown olive oil at the heart of every plate. From long lunches under the sun to relaxed gatherings, the bistro is a place where food, landscape, and time come together effortlessly.
Sitting above the Bistro, The Events Salon offers a more private setting - a refined, flexible space suited to meetings, corporate away days, and curated experiences. Framed by the surrounding groves and coastal landscape, it provides a calm, considered environment that feels both elevated and connected to place.

Guests are also invited to stay a little longer in our collection of luxury holiday homes nestled within the groves - private, design-led retreats immersed in olive trees and sea air, extending the experience of Waiheke into something slower, more personal, and deeply connected to its surroundings.
